About Dr. Erika Annabelle Pratte

Finding the right therapist is hard. It's like shopping for clothes: you have to try one on before you know they're the right fit. Except therapy is expensive, emotionally and financially. You don't want to be shopping around for too long. This page will help you gauge if I could be the right fit for you, commitment free.

Holistic Head Health (HHH) is a private practice with Dr. Erika Annabelle Pratte as its resident psychologist. Please just call her Erika, though! We provide mental health services, such as assessment and psychotherapy.

Erika is a registered counselling psychologist and psychotherapist. Her approach to psychological wellbeing focuses on the whole person.

Per Erika, "Clients and I may discuss such things as personal experiences, self-development, mind-body theory, nutrition, exercise, medication and supplements, spirituality, social wellbeing, family dynamics, psychological assessment, navigating the NHS or other healthcare, evidence based therapy techniques, and beyond."

"About my approach to therapy: I see psychological wellbeing as a part of a complex system and that system is you. Your mental health affects so much of your experience as a person, but it is also affected by other aspects of yourself, such as your genetics, physical health, diet/nutrition, lived experiences, personal beliefs/practices, social wellbeing, etc. Science (and common sense!) indicates that one part of our wellbeing affects the other, but health professionals tend to focus on just one aspect and refer us to someone else who can address another. But even when that happens, no one tends to sit us down and talk about how all these parts of ourselves relate to one another, and why addressing what is imbalanced or not working as well as it should, needs attention so everything else can work well, too.

I like being the professional you can sit down with. Due to my extensive education and experience, there's a lot we can talk about and do together to help you meet your goals of being a healthier, happier you."
